We are all in the same boat
Our modern daily lives can be stressful.
Stress affects our sleep, recovery, immune response and how we feel in our bodies. The tension caused by stress can shape your physical health just like aging, injures or illness.
Each person’s body and stress response is unique, but stress generally weakens skeletal muscles—and it may surprise you to learn that it also affects the pelvic floor muscles.
This is true for men, women, and even children, regardless of age.
Did you know?
Everybody has one.
It is not well known that children and many sports athletes may have tightness in the pelvic floor muscles.
As we age a weakened pelvic floor is very common.
Both can have lots of unwanted side effects, most well known are urinary and bowel incontinence, pain, constipation, UTIs and reproductive system health issues.
You should know
We start to lose our muscle mass and bone density early on in our 30s.
In order to maintain muscle mass we need to use it, otherwise we lose it.
Exercise is simply the most effective way to maintain or even improve muscle mass. Not only does it support physical health, but it also helps regulate stress and enhances overall mental well-being.
Purpose
If your goal is to maintain or improve your physical health, achieve better mobility, strength, coordination, balance and reach peace of mind, then an overall approach working with external and internal muscle groups is right for you. Private training takes place in the comfort of your own home or garden.
The Kriston® method focuses on improving and maintaining the health of the lower abdominal organs.
The Kriston® method is used to maintain the pelvic floor muscles. It is both preventive and self-rehabilitation. It is effective for symptoms caused by muscle atrophy, overload and stress on the organs.
The Kriston® Method is taught in the form of training sessions that bring about rapid and significant health improvements in the lives of the participants.
The Kriston® Intimate Training is recommended for men and women aged 17 years and over to take care of their health and prevent or alleviate/ eliminate symptoms.
You can start consciously protecting your lower abdomen and pelvic floor muscles at any age, without having any symptoms. Everyone can take control of their own health at any time and experience how different it feels to have a strong pelvic floor.
The effectiveness of the Kriston® method has been supported by research and surveys in numerous clinical and scientific studies.
I generally work with people in their own home, garden or on the beach on a 1:1 setting or in a small group of friends, or family members.
I cater for all ages and all needs. I firmly believe that age is just a number and we can all do certain exercises according to our ability to move. No two bodies are the same, nor are their needs.
All training plans are unique. I tailor each program to meet YOUR specific needs and goals with an holistic approach to encompass nutrition & mental well-being.
These lifestyle adjustments ensure a comprehensive path to better overall health and wellbeing.
Your goals might be gaining strength and confidence or getting ready for an event.

Pelvic organ prolapse: womb, bladder or bowel
Fibroids
Urinary tract infections (UTIs), vaginitis,
Vaginismus(dyspareunia)
Period problems; cramps, irregular cycle, menorrhagia (heavy period) etc.

A better quality sex life

Haemorrhoids
Self-rehabilitation after abdominal surgery or after child birth
Low hormone production
The Kriston® method is used to train your pelvic floor muscles, learn to contract, control the external urethral sphincter, and the external anal sphincter.
Learn techniques and daily habits that can be used to protect and maintain the integrity of the pelvic floor muscles and so much more. The method can be preventative and also used for self-rehabilitation.
It is effective for symptoms caused by muscle atrophy, overload and stress on the female organs.
The pelvic floor muscle group holds our abdominal organs upright, it is responsible for continence among other things and helps to optimise sexual fulfilments.
Regular training helps to strengthen the pelvic floor. This in turn helps to support the lower abdominal organs (bladder, uterus, rectum) potentially preventing prolapse.
Besides learning the exercises, you will learn useful information about your own body and mind. We look at daily habits (e.g. lifestyle, sports, stress, work, etc.) and thereby support positive development within ourselves.
This knowledge can be acquired in the 12 hours group course or 6-7 hours private course.
Both courses can significantly improve the quality of your life. The participants learn things that only they can do for themselves.
The course does not replace the regular visit to the doctor, but supports the clients to help themselves in self-rehabilitation.
During the course we cover three major topics:
Movement
Learning the movements which comprises of 300 steps. The 300 structured steps guarantees a secure muscle awareness and development of the pelvic floor muscles. This ultimately gives you the opportunity to train your muscles.
Habits
You will learn daily habits that support your lower abdominal organs. You will acquire knowledge that will help you mindfully examine your old habits and rethink and change them with the aim of protecting your organs.
Psychosomatics
With the help of psychosomatic algorithms, you can gain insight into the possible reasons behind your symptoms. Clarifying emotional processes supports the chances of success in combating the symptoms and in reaching your personal best compared to your starting point.
Using examples, stories and test results from the method, we look behind the scenes, behind our symptoms.
In our minds we walk through a path of self-knowledge and self discovery that can lead to self-liberation. Our goal is to help you reach your own best self, which can be achieved through this method and through regular practice of the exercises.
By learning and regularly practicing the Kriston® method, you can help support a healthy menstrual cycle, increase hormone production, achieve a higher quality sex life, improve fertility, helps you in preparation for childbirth, faster recovery after childbirth or after abdominal surgery, helps to keep you continent and a better quality of life now and in old age.
The Kriston® Intimate Training course is recommended for women aged 17 years and over.
You can start consciously protecting your lower abdomen and pelvic floor muscles at any age without actually experiencing any undesired lower abdominal issues. Every woman can take her own health into her own hands at any time and experience having a strong pelvic floor muscle.
Please note that audio or video recording of the sessions is not permitted.
Kriston® Intimate Training for men
Can be helpful for the following problems for men:
Incontinence
Haemorrhoids
Varicocele
Prostatitis
Prostate enlargement (BPH)
Erectile dysfunction
Loss of libido
Premature ejaculation
Low sperm count
Low testosterone level
Rehabilitation after pelvic surgery
The Kriston® Intimate Training is designed for men aged 17 years and over who wish to take control of their health, prevent issues, or alleviate and potentially eliminate symptoms related to pelvic floor weakness. The course is ideal for men who are proactive about maintaining their virility and overall well-being.
This method focuses on strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, offering both preventive care and support for self-rehabilitation. It is particularly effective for addressing symptoms caused by muscle atrophy, strain, and stress on the organs. The male pelvic floor is composed of skeletal muscle fibers that, like any other muscle group, require targeted training to become strong and function optimally.
Strong pelvic floor muscles are helpful with maintaining continence, healthy erectile function and much more. Incontinence and erectile disfunction can have a negative effect on our self esteem and cause stress.
In the 12 hours group course, or in the 6-7 hours individual course the participants learn three supporting pillars; exercise, everyday habits, psychosomatics.
Exercises
Together, these pillars not only help achieve healthy organ function but also provide participants with greater control over their sexual organs. This newfound control can boost male self-confidence and support overall well-being.
The knowledge gained during the course can significantly enhance quality of life, empowering men to take responsibility for their own health. The Kriston® Method complements regular medical care by offering tools for effective self-rehabilitation, but it is not a replacement for professional healthcare.
A strong pelvic floor, combined with healthy blood flow, supports the proper function of the prostate, penis, testicles, bladder, and rectum. Men of any age can benefit from regular pelvic floor training, whether they are experiencing symptoms or simply want to take preventative action.
You can start consciously protecting your lower abdomen and pelvic floor muscles at any age, without having any symptoms. Every man can take control of his own health at any time and experience how different it feels to have a strong pelvic floor. This can be acquire by regular training.
Please note that audio or video recording of the sessions is not permitted.
Kriston® For Girls
Tailored support for girls aged 3 to 7 years.
The Kriston® Method offers gentle, age-appropriate guidance to help young girls develop healthy lower abdominal organ function and strengthen their sphincter muscles. By introducing these exercises early on, the method encourages the proper development of vital pelvic floor functions in a way that is sensitive to the needs of children.
Before the course begins, a preliminary discussion with the parents takes place to assess the child's specific symptoms and needs. This individualized approach ensures that the exercises are tailored to each child's unique situation. Factors such as age, resilience, attention span, and the initial condition are all taken into account when determining the course structure. The program typically lasts between 2 to 5 hours, spread across several shorter sessions to match the child's ability to stay engaged.
Parents play a crucial role in supporting the learning process. The exercises introduced during the course are practiced at home with parental guidance to reinforce what the child has learned.
This early intervention can provide long-term benefits, helping to ensure proper pelvic health and development as the child grows.
The course can be helpful for the following symptoms:
Involuntary loss of urine (during the day and/or at night)
Unintentional stool loss
Fear of urinating/defecating
Difficulty urinating
Functional difficulties of the sphincter muscles
Constipation
Rectal prolapse
Haemorrhoids
Please note that audio or video recording of the sessions is not permitted.

"I really enjoy my sessions with Kori. I enjoy the variety, elements of yoga, pilates, weights, running. We are often able to be outside and she makes the sessions fun. She is an excellent teacher and is very aware and cautious not to aggravate previous injuries."
"I had been working out at the gym for years. The sessions were so monotonous and not very challenging. They kept me in good shape, but I didn't feel like I was making any progress over the years. Anyway, I jokingly told Kori, "Hey, I'm 40 and I've never seen my abs.
"So she started training me twice a week. It's unbelievable what you can accomplish in just an hour with a good trainer. It's like night and day compared to what I was used to. We usually started with mobility exercises, then tabata for cardio, strength training with weights, core training, and we ended with yoga movements for stretching.
It was tough at first, but after just two weeks, I could already feel the difference. I felt more athletic and in shape than ever before. My heart rate went down, my energy levels were way higher, and the exercise routines felt easier. Kori made me realise how important is to work with a professional, I strongly recommend her as personal trainer."
"Training with Kori has been one of the best decisions I have made for my health and well-being.
What I value most about my experience is the professionalism, closeness and dedication that she conveys. Not only did she personalize a training plan for me that perfectly suited my goals and abilities, but she also constantly motivated me to improve myself day by day.
I improved my strength, endurance, and overall fitness, which has positively impacted my daily life.
Thanks also to the advice on nutrition and mental well-being, they kept me motivated and committed to a healthy lifestyle, which I maintain to this day."
"I have been training with Kori for 8 months now and love it! She changes the exercises regularly so it never gets boring and we always have a laugh! Also, the results are so motivating I look forward to my session with her. I am in my late 50s heading the other end. Kori offers a holistic approach, coordination focusing on my balance and stability. Kori keeps me motivated and encourages me every step of the way. I am feeling fit and young!""I have been training with Kori for 8 months now and love it! She changes the exercises regularly so it never gets boring and we always have a laugh! "Kori has a fun and friendly approach to exercise and she is flexible with time.
Which is great, cos my schedule is all over the place.
The trainings are hard I won’t lie, but I really feel the benefits, she motivates me all the time.
She has great knowledge on food and nutrition, with great tips."
"Since Covid I never returned to the gym. I love the idea of the trainer coming to you, so much less hassle and saves me time. We try to do the workouts outside in the garden if the weather is not too bad. Even if it rains a little, I just quickly change after. I rather be away from people and sweaty gyms. My mobility is getting better, and I sleep better. Kori brings all the weights and resistant bands, i only have to bring myself."

The ethos behind my teaching is to combine my knowledge of health, fitness, nutrition and pelvic floor together.
My courses are designed to improve people's quality of life, giving them the skills to self-rehabilitate through individually designed programs for optimal health.
